Don’ts in Asia - Showing too much skin
In Thailand, there are places wherein visitors are not allowed to wear shorts or short skirts.
No matter how much you insist, it will simply not be acceptable. This is usually within palaces and temples.
On the streets and in bars, though, it is generally acceptable in tourist-frequented areas.
To be on the safe side, however, it is best to dress modestly except for when at the beach or pool.
