Don’ts in Asia - Taking pictures of the locals without permission
Differences between the cities and rural areas.
In the cities, this is not so much of an issue but it is always polite to ask the people before snapping any photos.
In the rural areas, especially the areas which tribes inhabit, it is a no no to take photos without asking their permission first.
Some tribes have superstitions regarding this and it is best to be sure and not offend anyone.
